Royal Park Lodge, Auckland

My stay at this lodge was quite disappointing. While the initial appearance was charming, the experience soon turned sour due to unhelpful staff and various maintenance issues. The location is decent, as it’s close to shopping areas, but I would definitely recommend spending a bit more for better accommodations elsewhere.

I had a pleasant stay at this motel, which offered fantastic service and a massive room that made me feel very welcome. It’s conveniently located near shops and cafes, but it could use some TLC in terms of decor and furniture. Nonetheless, the comfortable bed and clean environment contributed to a good night's sleep.

My stay at this hotel was quite unfortunate. While the staff tried to be helpful, the conditions of the rooms were simply unacceptable. The lack of basic amenities and cleanliness left much to be desired, and I certainly did not feel like I was getting value for my money. The property itself seemed to be in disrepair, and I couldn't wait to check out and leave this place behind.

While the room I stayed in was large and had some good amenities, I did notice some cleanliness issues and outdated decor that detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the dining options were limited and not particularly exciting. Overall, the value for money was reasonable, but I would consider paying a bit more for a cleaner and more refreshed space next time.

I stayed at this motel for a couple of nights upon my arrival and before my departure from New Zealand. The room was spacious and immaculately clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. The location was convenient, just a short drive from the airport and within walking distance to a lovely café for breakfast. The only drawback was the bathroom, which could use some updating, but it was still functional and clean overall.
